The Europe Class celebrates the Olympics 2012 at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show

The Europe Class Association is privileged to be able to exhibit the Europe dinghy in which Shirley Robertson won her first gold medal in 2000. (You can follow this year's GBR sailors on the RYA Skandia Team GBR blog.)

 

Shirley's Europe will be on the Europe stand at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March 2012. Make a diary date now and visit us on the stand.We are looking forward to meeting present, future and past Europe sailors at the show and will be pleased to offer advice and encouragement to everyone interested in the class.

 
2012 Nationals to be at Brixham

The class association is pleased to announce that the 2012 Europe National Championships will be held at Brixham Yacht Club, South Devon, on the 23rd and 24th June. 

 

Brixham offers fabulous sea sailing on the open waters of Torbay.  The area is a popular destination for holidaymakers with a wide range of local accommodation available. Further details, NoR and entry forms will follow, but in the meantime please see the Brixham YC web site for more general information about the club.

We are currently planning for a class training event day to be held before the nationals on Friday 22nd June.  If you wish to attend this please await confirmation before making accommodation or travel arrangements
